Hi all,

Will there be some sort of "threads" idea in Nool? I can see that for a certain topic many people can upload their take, but I am not sure how this would allow for person E replying to person B in a chronological chain of posts like A -> B -> C -> D - > E.

If this is already covered on the launch release, I'll just delete this post 😛 Otherwise I'd be interested in discussing it further.

Gerd This is how we first designed the app:

So you swipe right on B to see the replies to B, or keep swiping up to see the rest of the replies in the main thread. But this felt confusing, so we went with this:

This is more like any messaging platform like Whatsapp, where everything is chronological and intuitive.

What do you think?

Tbf, I can see how people could like either of them. This is something you would need to test and validate heavily.

Personally I feel like I would opt for the first idea, but I might change my mind when using the app.

Gerd Yeah so the first option seems logical, but when it came to navigating back to the home screen, it felt counter-intuitive. Adding buttons to go back in a swipe experience didn't feel great either. That's why we simplified it and came up with the second option.
